Since launching in 2008, Shredmaster has been at the forefront of the secure recycling and destruction industry. What began as a small team with a big vision quickly grew into a nationwide operation — with key expansion milestones in Johannesburg (2020), the Garden Route (2022), and KwaZulu-Natal (2024).
The introduction of the POPIA Act in 2013 further sharpened our focus on compliance and secure data handling, prompting us to enhance our systems and services in line with South Africa’s growing privacy requirements.

OUR PROCESS
Once collected, all materials are carefully sorted by grade – such as paper, plastic, and other recyclables – and processed accordingly. Shredded materials are recycled wherever possible to reduce waste to landfill. From collection to final disposal, our process is secure, fully traceable, and environmentally responsible every step of the way.
